Tonya Marie Wade Jordan, 28, of rural New Madrid, died Nov. 7, 2001, at her home.
Born July 10, 1973, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Charles E. and Judy Kay Truett Wade of Sikeston, she was a 1992 graduate of Sikeston High School. She had been employed by Dr. David Morris at the Delta Veterinary Clinic, Wal-Mart in Sikeston and Plastene Supply Company in Portageville.
Her husband, Jimmy Jordan, survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: one sister and brother-in-law, Lorie and Daniel Fisher; paternal grandparents, Will and Thelma Wade; one nephew, Dustin Fisher; and one niece, Ashton Fisher.
One sister, Tracey Lee Wade, preceded her in death.
Visitation was at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services were scheduled with Dr. Bryan Anderson, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Jackson, officiating.
Burial followed in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Pallbearers were: Ronnie Appleton, Kevin Jordan, Chris Rhynerson, Chad Rhynerson, Lonnie Rucker and Chuck King.
