Glenn Thomas Chenoweth, Sr., 77, of Goose Creek passed away Sunday, April 24th at a local hospital. He was born in Springboro, Ohio to the late John and Daisy Chenoweth. He was a firefighter, 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends including his wife of 52 years, Derinda Marcella Chenoweth; daughter, Gloria A. Drown (William) of Asheville, NC; son, Glenn T. Chenoweth, Jr., (Marie) of Lansdowne, PA; daughter, Nancy J. Kinard of Goose Creek, SC; daughter, Patricia S. Rensch of Newark, OH; and son, Daniel R. Chenoweth (Lori) of Goose Creek, SC. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren: April Drown, Matthew Drown, Jamie Drown, Cassandra Rensch, Jason Kinard, Danny Rensch, Alex Chenoweth, Stephen Chenoweth, Alicia Kinard-Hitchcock, Nicholas Chenoweth and Cameron Chenoweth. He was also blessed with 3 great-grandsons; Brandon Wise, Brodyn Wise and Isaac Drown. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., (Hwy 52), Goose Creek. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, April 27th in the chapel of McAlister-Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Old Hwy 52, Moncks Corner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC, 29605 and the Goose Creek Rural Fire Department, Redbank Road, Goose Creek, SC, 29445.
