According to her son (Frank) she was married first to a Mr. Chandler at age 15 and had 3 daughters. Mr. Chandler left her when the oldest girl was 4 yr. and took the 3 girls. She didn't see her daughters for 7 years. Frank could not recall the names of the daughters (his half-sisters) as they had very little contact with their mother.
Mary & James Landreth had 7 children, the youngest died in infancy and Mary & James were divorced in 1917.
After daughter, Eva, died Mary raised her grandson as a son, John Wesley Landreth (1923-1986)
