Genevea Carol Davis Hale, 74, died at her home in Mesa, April 2, 2006. She was born May 14, 1931 to Thomas and Hazel Davis at Ray, Ariz.
Carol was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved playing with the grand children and the great grandchildren. She also worked as the secretary for the family business over the years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many different callings. She always looked forward to the Spring when she could start planning and planting her flower garden.
Carol's survivors include her husband, Vernal Rue Hale, Sr.; children Vance Robert Hale, Kimberlee Ann Hale and John Charles Hale; also her brother Thomas "Bud" Davis, Jr. and sister Norma Gene Johnson. She has 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were son Vernal "Sonny" Rue Hale, Jr.; her parents, Thomas and Hazel Davis and sisters Lorraine Shumway and Shirley Lynn McCarthy.
Funeral services were held April 8 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville Chapel. She was laid to rest at the Springerville Cemetery.
Burnham Mortuary, Eagar was entrusted with the arrangements.
