In 1800, he emigrated with his family to Ohio and settled in Ross County; thence about 1803-4, removed into Logan County; thence re- moved to Champaign County, and finally, about 1823, located in Union County, Allen Township, on the same place where his son now resides, and remained in the same neighborhood till his death, in 1847. His 8 children were as follows:
