Mary Ellen Kirkman Scofield 88, of Richmond, IN died Saturday, December 20, 2008. She was born on July 30, 1920 to Frank J. and Bessie Mae (Miller) Kirkman in Preble County , OH. She was a proud homemaker, and a member of Chester Community Church in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Delphord. Surviving are her three children, Bill and Patty Kirkman, Frank Scofield, and Lisa Lambdin. Mary is also survived by grandchildren, Dustin, Jeremy, Jason, Vickie Jo, and Greg, as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Scofield will be at Floral Park Funeral Center on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral center from Noon until service time. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
