Funeral services for Thomas Charles Overstreet, 73, are pending with Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home Directors.
Mr. Overstreet died at 7:30 a.m. today at his home, 834 Jordan St., White Deer.
He was born June 13, 1896, in Indiana Territory, near Loco, Okla., and moved to White Deer in 1906. A retired farmer, he was a member of White Deer Masonic Lodge and of the White Deer First Baptist Church.
Mr. Overstreet was married to Jewell Harris, Sept. 25, 1921, in Pampa.
Survivors are his wife, of the home; one son, Tommy, Borger; two daughters, Mrs. Georgia F. McDonald, Pampa; and Mrs. Ouida Nell Shurley, Jal, N.M.; one brother, Rufus, Hereford; four sisters, Mrs. Iva Lee Upham, Pampa; Mrs. Leola Banks, and Mrs. Artie Morrow, Fresno, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
