James Payton "Pate" Markle, 95, died Thursday, December 18, 2008, at Haywood Park Community Hospital in Brownsville, TN.
Services will be at 2 P.M. today in Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home West Chapel with Rev. Billy Adair Officiating.
Burial will be in Hood Cemetery in Somerville, TN.
He was a Native of Alcorn County and a Former Resident of Corinth before moving to Fayette County, Indiana.
He was a Retired Farmer and Employee of Salant Manufacturing Company in Somerville, TN.
He was also a Member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two Daughters, Iva Pattat of Somerville, TN; and Cyleno Houston of Hickory Valley, TN; three Sons, Gary Markle, O'Neil Markle and Ronnie Markle, all of Somerville, TN; one Sister, Melissa Taylor of Hickory Valley, TN; one Brother, Herman Markle of Memphis, TN; 11 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; and two Great Great Grandchildren.
