She was preceded in death by her father, Fred P. Stevenson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband, Marvin Ray Banks Jr.; one son, Parker A. Banks; her mother, Carrie Stevenson; one sister, April Gail Stevenson; a host of other relatives and friends.
Remains rested at March Funeral Home, 2110 East Laburnum Ave. No public viewing. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Rho Eta Omega Chapter, Ivy Beyond the Wall Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 22, 2008 at 5:30 p.m in the March Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends following the memorial service from 6pm to 7pm. Funeral services held at Saint Paul's Baptist Church, 4247 Creighton Rd., Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 12 noon. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
