Son of Angus James Hatt and Goldie Isabelle Casper. Twin Brother of Elda Hatt Monteith who is the last of the Hatt children still living.

Funeral services for Allen Jay Hatt, 44, of 1229 Lowell St., Rock Springs, were conducted Wednesday at 9 a.m. at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, the Rev. Frank A Redle officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Military graveside services were conducted by American Legion Archie Hay Post No. 24 and the Wyoming National Guard.

Pallbearers were Boyd Soltis, Leno, Marieth, Dave McNeish, Eugene Paoh, Richard Harris and Louis Ruttam.

Honorary Pallbearers were Joseph Bogataj and Norman Gillespie.

Mr. Hatt died Saturday, Oct 31 of head and neck injuries he suffered in a one car accident at the Interstate 80 Superior interchange. He was a passenger in a car driven by Louis Flaker, 59, of 140 J St. Rock Springs, who was seriously injured in the accident.

A maintenance foreman for FMC Corp, he was born July 2, 1926 in Rock Springs, the son of the late Angus J Hatt, Sr and Goldie Casper Hatt. He married the former Lena K. Dellai in Rock Springs, July 5, 1947.

A graduate of Rock Springs High School, Mr Hatt served with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American legion Archi Hay Post No. 24, the 40th & 8 IOOF Lodge, Redmen's Lodge and the Italian American Society.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Angus J (Buddy) Hatt of Rock Springs, Four sisters, Mrs Carl (Lola) Boyer of Tabor, Iowa, Mrs Kent (Elaine) Ross of Claremont, California, his twin, Mrs Clyde (Elda) Monteith of Portland, Ore., and Mrs Don (Delores) George of Cle Elum, Wash., and several nieces and nephews.
