Last Will & Testament (extracts from) written 9 Sep 1955 .. I Honorah O'Leary of Woodville, appoint the Public Trustee of the said Dominion to be the executor and trustee of this my will . I Direct that my trustee shall expend out of my estate such sum as he in his discretion thinks fit in concreting-over the grave in which my late husband and I are buried and in erecting thereon a headstone with suitable inscriptions to the memory of my said husband and myself. I Give and Bequeath the sum of One hundred pounds (£100) to the Parish Priest at the date of my death in charge of St Brigid Roman Catholic Church at Pahiatua for the purpose of having Masses said for the repose of my soul and of the soul of my late husband, Timothy O'Leary. I Give and Bequeath the sum of One hundred pounds (£100) to each of my nieces Eileen Brown, Bridget Kelly, Mary Ellen Walsh, Mary Hunter and Ellen Sullivan who survives me. I Give, Devise and Bequeath the whole of my estate both real and personal of whatsoever nature and wheresoever situate (not hereinbefore otherwise disposed of) unto my trustee upon Trust to pay my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and all death duty payable in respect of my estate and to stand possessed of the residue upon trust for the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington to be used by him for the purpose of promoting and assisting Roman Catholic primary education at Woodville, provided however and I direct that if at the time of my death there is no school erected at Woodville for the purpose of Roman Catholic primary education, the proceeds of my estate are to be utilised fro that purpose ..
* Witness to death, 3rd Feb 1960, I, Mary Ellen Walshe, of Umutaoroa in New Zealand, widow, make oath and say that I knew Honorah O'Leary resident of Woodville .. that the deceased died at Dannevirke on or about the 29th day of January 1960 as I am able to depose from having been present at her funeral ..
