The deaths have taken place of two Woodville residents, Mr C. E. Coward and Mrs E. O'Hagan
Manawatu Standard, 20 July 1927
A very old resident of the Woodville and Kumeroa districts in the person of Mrs O'Hagan, relict of the late John O'Hagan, died in the Dannevirke Hospital on Sunday
The death of Mrs Emma O'Hagan removes another of the Woodville district's links with the past. Mrs O'Hagan went with her husband, the late Mr John O'Hagan, to the Kumeroa district from Tikokino some 40 years ago and proved a splendid help to her pioneer husband. On his death some time ago she carried on the farm, but later leased it to a son, the late Mr jack O'Hagan, returning to Woodville where she ahd lived until ill-health necessitated her removal to the Dannevirke Hospital for treatment. The members of the family left to mourn their loss are Mess James (Wanganui), Edward O'Hagan (Dannevirke) and Mesdames Jarrett and Pritchard (Wanganui) and Herrick (Wairarapa)
