James D. Watrous

James Daylin WATROUS, 84, Rochester, died at 4:15 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn Hospital. He had been a patient four days. He had been in failing health for a number of years.
Born in Union City, Pa., to Bert L. and Lula TRISCUTT WATROUS, he married Mary Alice BARKER on July 26, 1941 in Lima, Ohio. She survives.
He came to Rochester in 1957 from Union City, Pa. He and his wife owned and operated the former Wtrous Paint Store, Rochester, and he also did custom painting., He had lived in Belleview, Fla. for 23 years, returning to Rochester in May, 1995.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Carol) SHRIVER, Rochester, and Mrs. Kay HALL, Huntington; one son, Emory ad wife Betty WATROUS, Belleview, Fla.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Robert STORY officiating. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m Wednesday ad one hour prior to ervices on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Woodlawn Hospital Home Health Care, Rochester.
