Mr. Coppage was the son of John W. and Nannie Fields Coppage. He was employed as a structural steel ironworker.
Mr. Coppage was survived by his widow, Ollie; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Edith Smith (FNU) Malone (Joseph); one son, John J. Coppage of Covington, KY, and one stepson, John Wesley 'Johnnie' Ireland of Cynthiana, KY and four grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, May 25, 1933 at at the First Christian Church with Allison & Rose Funeral Home in charge of the funeral. Mr. Coppage is buried at the Highland Cemetery.
