Paul David Watkins, 43, of Dexter, died Sept. 19, 2001, in Cape Girardeau County of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born Dec. 5, 1957, in Dexter, son of Goldie Watkins DePriest of Dexter and the late George Watkins, he was a construction worker.
On Sept. 12, 1998, at Dexter, he married Karen McClard who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: his stepfather, Bill DePriest; two brothers, George Watkins Jr. and Larry Roe Watkins; two stepbrothers, Ronnie DePriest, and Darrel DePriest; one stepsister, Vivien Burnsed; and several nieces and nephews. One brother, Bobby Gene Watkins, preceded him in death.
Visitation was held at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services were scheduled with The Rev. Jerrold Lake officiating.
Burial followed in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
