Henry Clayton Graham, 85, died on Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Tulsa, OK. He was born November 30, 1923 in Eureka, Kansas the son of James Robert and Elizabeth Dorothy (Schmitt) Graham. He married Twilla Lorene Duckworth who preceded him in death on January 26, 1995.
Henry served his country during World War II in the U.S. Marines receiving an honorable discharge. He retired after 35 years from Morganti Wholesale Liquor company where he was a sales representative. He is survived by his daughter: Marsha Miner and her husband Melvin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his sons: Greg Graham and his wife Dorothy of Fresno, California and Jan Graham and his wife Lou Ann of Tehachapi, California; his brother: Howard Graham and his wife Mary Ann of Topeka, Kansas; sister-in-law: Mary Graham of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and nine Great grandchildren. Graveside services have tentatively been set for Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka, Kansas.

Born in Eureka, KS November 30, 1923, attended school in Fredonia, KS, and played Semi-Pro Baseball with the White Sox farm team out of LA. In 1942 he enlisted in the U.S. Marines. He served with I Company, 3rd BN 9th Marines, and saw combat on the Islands of Guadalcanal and Bougainvillea in the South Pacific. He was Honorably Discharged in 1944. Member of the American Legion, VFW, and the DAV. Married Twilla Duckworth in 1945 and they raised 3 children. They lived in Colorado Springs, CO, Carpenteria, CA, and settling in Santa Maria, CA, where Hank worked as a salesman for 28 years before retiring to Tehachapi, CA.. In 1998 Hank suffered a stroke and in 2003 he moved from Tehachapi, CA to Tulsa so that his loving daughter Marsha could care for him. Survivors: brother, Howard Graham and wife Maryann of Topeka, KS, sister-in-law: Mary Graham of Tulsa, son: Greg Graham and wife Dorothy of Clovis CA, granddaughters, Kelly Graham, CA, Terri Graham CA, (great-grandchildren: Shawn and Hannah), Christine Rash (great-grandchildren Alyssa and Brett), and Caroline Mercado (great-granddaughter Breanna), CA.; daughter: Marsha Miner and Husband Melvin, Grandson James Latta (great-granddaughter Taylor) all of Tulsa, and son Jan Graham and wife LuAnn of Tehachapi, CA, granddaughters Tricia Rosa (great-grandchildren Corey, and Grace), Stephanie Oliver, Jana Graham (great-grandson Cody Woeste), grandsons Scott Graham, Tyler Graham, and granddaughter Lisa Graham all of CA. Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Twilla, in 1995, his father James Graham Sr., mother Elizabeth, brothers, James Jr., Russell, and Lyle Graham. and especially his entire fellow Marines- SEMPER FI. The family would like to Thank, Tulsa VA Clinic Doctors, Dr. Diep, Dr. Price, VA Hospital Dr. "K" in Muskogee, Dr. Medina, and Jeff of St. Johns Heart Center. Also, Connie Harrison- Interim Healthcare for the compassionate care-giving, the Physical and Occupational Therapists, Grace Hospice- nurse Micky, and Life Senior Care.
