Seroba R. ''Soby'' Bellardo, 81, of 8B Oriole St., Kennedy, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, in WCA Hospital.
She was born Nov. 23, 1927 in Eldred, Pa., a daughter of the late Irvin and Alice Howard Acre.
Soby attended Franklinville schools, and while in the Jamestown area was employed by McKeller Drug Company, Clark Box Company and Arthur Treachers.
She was a life member and past president of Randolph Memorial Post 6533 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and member of Ira Lou Spring Post 149 American Legion Auxiliary and AMVETS Post 50 Auxiliary, Sugar Grove.
She dearly loved her family and friends, her hummingbird collection and trips to the casino.
Surviving are children: Paulette (Graham) Price of Elizabeth, Colo., Jackie (Lee) Peterson of Ashville, Tony (Maureen) Muro of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Judy (Keith) Hartley of Russell, Pa., and Carol Heelas of Frewsburg; grandchildren: Daniel Ewing of Boise, Idaho, Michael Ewing of Denver, Colo., Alyson Danielewicz, Nicole and Kenneth Heelas and Erin and Ryan Lasky, all of Niagara Falls, Mandy Woolschlager of Jamestown, Kyle Heelas, serving with the U.S. Army National Guard in Afghanistan, Alyssa Nayden of University Heights, Ohio, Nick Peterson of Ashville, Tony Muro of Manhattan, Kan., Jami Muro of Omaha, Neb., Richard Pattison of Waxhaw, N.C. and Brad Hartley of Warren, Pa.; six great-grandchildren; and sisters: Phyllis (Joe) Cala of Jamestown, and Patricia Winterhalter of Belmont, N.Y.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis ''Chief'' Bellardo in 1986; a son, Thomas Heelas in 1995; brothers: Robert and Howard Acre; and a sister, Shirley Acre.
