Lafayette, a retired Standard Oil
distributor, died Thurs., Aug. 17, 1978,
in Home Hospital where he had been a
patient one day.
Born near Buck Creek, he was
married in 1913 near Delphi to Faye M.
Duff. He whs a member of Trinity
United Methodist Church, Lafayette
High 12 Club, 50-year member of F &
AM 441 of Romney and Order of
Eastern Star Hope Chapter 5.
Surviving with the widow are a
daughter, Mrs. Robert (Freda)
Mossman of South Bend; two grand
children and four great-grandchildren
Final rites were Saturday at
Lafayette and interment was in
Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
