SIKES — Services for Marshall H. Adams will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sikes Baptist Church with the Rev. James Moffett officiating. Burial will be in Sikes Cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Adams, 84, of Winnfield died at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Natchitoches Parish Hospital, Natchitoches.

He was a native of Dodson and a farmer. He was a member of Sikes Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Adams of Winnfield; two daughters, Carolyn Barron of Natchitoches and Van DeVall of Sikes; three brothers, Troy Adams of Dodson, Willie Adams of Austin, Texas, and Leroy Adams of Shreveport; three sisters, Lavenia Thompson and Cora Lee Jeter, both of Shreveport, and Marciel Powell of Kileen, Texas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until noon Friday in the funeral home. Friends may also call from 1 p.m. until time of services Friday in the church.
