Meade Funeral
Honey Grove - The funeral of George B. Meade who died Monday, was set Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ here, Robert West Funeral Home making burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Sons and sons-in-law were named pallbearers.
Mr. Meade, a farmer living north of Honey Grove, died in Wilson N. Jones Hospital, Sherman, where he was taken after a sudden attack of illness.
He was born in Virginia, october 16, 1884. He married Miss Minnie Scott, Oct. 14, 1908, and she survives besides these children: J. E. Meade, Mrs. Winnelle Witcher and Mrs. Marita Lane, all of Honey Grove; Leon Meade, Gladewater; Mrs. Frances Myrick, Wichita Falls; Mrs. Lois Killingsworth, Denton, and Mrs. Aubyn Owens, Tulsa, Okla., and 10 grandchildren.
