Born with the name Maria Ibarra Huertas district of Mala, Lima Province in 1912, the daughter of a Japanese businessman and a mulatto Malena. He was the first child of two brothers.

From a young age he devoted himself to work at home to be head chef of the most famous families barranquinas for 40 years. Widowed in 1970, had several residences: Barranco, Miraflores, Surquillo and Rimac, where he took refuge with her daughter in a nursing home in 1997.

Married to Juan Molina Huapaya in 1941, had four children, two died at a young age, Juan Manuel survive (1949) and Maria Eusebia (1948).

Admirable woman of strength, strong character and foster their longstanding health suffered during the last two years of his life.

Died of cardiac arrest in 2003.
