Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Mrs Augusta Kurtz, 77, of 417 Archer Avenue, who died t 12:10 am Saturday at her home after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne and a member of St John's Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, John; five daughters, Mrs Elsie Sible, Mrs Matilda King, Mrs Frede Lloyd, Mrs Hilda Harmeyer and Miss Alma Kurtz; six sons, Albert, John, Herbert, Wilbur and Robert, all of Fort Wayne and Ora of Arcola; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the CM Sloan Funeral Home. Services will be held there at 1 pm Tuesday and at the church of 1:30 pm, the Rev William D Strong officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
