The Beers grocery store was for many years located in the old Empire block near the corner of Front and N. Spring streets.

The children are, Mrs. Josephine Haider, this city; John Beers, jr., Chicago; Mrs. Minnie Runke, this city; Mrs. Emma Starkey, Chicago; William Beers, this city; Mrs. Verona Roth, Milwaukee; Mrs. Hattie Kolb, and Alvin Beers of this city.
