OAKLAND, July 23_ Mrs. Ane Alexander Dickey, 76, mother of
Mrs. James A. Dole of the Hawaiian pineaple family and daughter of Rev. and Mrs. William P. Alexander, early missionaries to the Hawaiian Islands, died in her home yesterday. Mrs. Dickey was born in HAwaii in 1857, she marrried in Illinois, the late Charles Henry Dickey, Civil War veteran, who became a merchant, attorney and legislature in Hawaii.
She is survived by sons, Judbe Lyle Alexander Dickey of Hawaii and C.W. Dickey, Honolulu architect, and by two daughters, Mrs. Dole of San Francisco and Mrs. A.M. Merrill of Piedmont.
