After an illness of four weeks, and having the care of a trained nurse and her daughters, Mrs. William H. Bowman succumbed to heart disease last Monday afternoon.
She was the daughter of Daniel Tobias and wife, born in Jackson Twp. September 7, 1854; her age, 69 yrs. 6 months and 4 days, and if she had lived until May 24th, the couple would have been married for fifty years.
Nine children preceded the mother to the grave, being survived by her husband and three children, Mrs. William Enders, Lykens; Mrs. Isaac W. Mattis, Elizabethville; Mrs. John D. Miller, Harrisburg, also sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, 3 brothers; Clinton Tobias, Millersburg; James Tobias, Mrs. John Hoffmnan, Fisherville; George Tobias and Mrs. Angeline Lebo of Halifax.
Services will be held today, Thursday at one o'clock at the home and at Enders United Brethern Church at 2:30, Rev. S.T. Dundore and Rev. Krick officiating. Intetrmanet in the Fairview Cemetery.
