Rockford, Ill., Mar. 16- Mrs. Mary Hale, 60 years old, residing with a daughter, Mrs. Emeline Usher, 119 North Hinckley Avenue, took her life late yesterday in the bedroom of her home slashing her throat with a razor. Despondency over continued ill health is believed to have been the cause of her act.

Warren people were shocked when they heard Mrs. Mary Hale had committed suicide at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dick Usher, in Rockford. Mrs. Hale lived in and near Warren many years and had many friends. Mr. Hale passed away several years ago and since then Mrs. Hale has made her home with her daughter.
