He was the eldest child of William Fields Prince and Indie Anna Prince. He worked as a salesman, lumberman, and many other occupations. He was a spirited person who enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and watching wrestling and boxing matches. For many years he was custodian of Bruington Baptist Church.
