Mattie Ruth Bailey, 89 of Canoe, Al. passed away Tuesday March 07, 2017 at her Residence. She was a Homemaker, born on February 07, 1928 in Brewton, AL. to the late Charlie and Sallie Tarleton Booth. She was a member of Moyeville Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Canoe.

She is preceded in death by Her Parents, Her husband, Raleigh Bailey, A Son, Charles Bailey, Granddaughter, Megan Bailey, Great-Granddaughter, Ashley Abbott and Her Brothers and Sisters.

She is survived by Three Sons, Gary (Darlene) Bailey of Canoe, Al. Douglas ( Beverly) Bailey Lenoir City, TN. Keith (Laura) Bailey Canoe, AL. Six Daughters, Regina Gohagan of Robinsonville, AL. Miriam (Ray) McBride of Bratt, FL. Annette (Tommy) Young of Canoe, AL.
Sharon Martin Bratt,FL.Janet (Tom) Redden of Concord, N.C. and Kim (Randy) Martin of Canoe, AL. Twenty Grandchildren, Twenty-Six Great-Grandchildren and Three Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be Friday March 10, 2017 at 2:30PM in Robinsonville Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment will follow in Robinsonville Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends, Friday March 10, 2017 at Atmore Memorial Chapel from 12 Noon until 2PM.

In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice and Helping Hands Ministry.
