Eddie Ray Cline
Eddie Cline of Route Two, Sheridan, Indiana, died unexpectedly Sunday at his home near Boxley, Indiana. He was eighty-two years of age and had lived his entire life in the Boxley community.
Mr. Cline was born in Hamilton County on July 18, 1894, son of Andrew H. and Mary Jane Mann Cline. He was married on October 2, 1915 to Ruth H. Henderson, who survives.
Other survivors are one son, Ivan Cline of Lexington, South Carolina; six daughters: Mrs. Avalon Hiatt of Marengo, Wisconsin; Thelma Burroughs of Lafayette; Erma Barker of Lapel; Carolyn Long of Hayward, Wisconsin; Mary Anna Hadley of Sheridan. There are also twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren as well as one brother, Odie Cline of Sheridan and two sisters: Mrs. Edna Teter and Mrs. Oretta Butterworth, both o Sheridan.
Mr. Cline was a trucker of farm livestock until his retirement. He was a member of the Boxley Methodist Church.
Services will be held at two p.m. on Tuesday at the Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan with the Reverend Leon Brandenburg officiating. Calling will be after two p.m. today with burial in Boxley Cemetery.
