Nancy A (McMurry) Eoff was the daughter of Joseph McMurry and Sarah Amanda McCollum, natives of Tennessee. Nancy was the only daughter and had brothers: Daniel, John M, William Asberry, James W, Jacob Albert and Walter McMurry raised on farms in Blount and Franklin counties, Alabama.

Nancy was the second wife of George Eoff, the son of John Eoff and Lucy Shaw, natives of Kentucky and residents of Boone County, Arkansas. Nancy and George were married October 17, 1889 in Itasca, Hill County, Texas. George and Nancy were farming in Jones County, Texas by 1900.

"Sister Nancy A Eoff departed this life March 10, 1901 after a lingering illness of several weeks at the age of fifty-four years. Her maiden name was McMurray, born in Alabama in 1846, she was married to Geo Eoff in Hill County, Texas in 1899. She professed a hope in Christ at the age of thirteen years, joined the Missionary Baptist Church, was baptized into the fellowship of the same...."
