Robert H. Bell was born in 1855 in Missouri to James D. and Alice (Cox) Bell. By 1880, he was living in Kansas, where three children were born. A son was born in 1896 in Washington State. Robert can be found in Snohomish County in 1900 and Pierce County in 1920.

Bell of Bremerton; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Bell, a logger, moved to Hylebos from Charleston, Wash., 13 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist church. The body has been removed to C. C. Mellinger's for shipment to Bremerton for burial.
