Adam Carl Wasserman

Adam Carl Wasserman was born at Bremen, Kansas July 26, 1885, son of Christ Wasserman and his wife Katherine nee Germeroth, and was baptized in Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church August 9, 1885, and was confirmed March 26, 1899 at Ev. Lutheran Church.
On November 16, 1905 he was united in marriage with Elizabeth Nenerman, who preceded him in death in 1940. To this union were born ten children, of which two preceded him in death in infancy.
On June 14, 1943 he was again married to Martha Hubbert of Stromsburg, Nebraska, from that time which he made his home at Stromsburg.
He passed away at the hospital at Osceola, Nebraska, Sunday, October 27, 1946 at 11 am. at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 1 day, after a lingering illness of four months.
Through all his illness he was very patient, and very kindly and tenderly cared for.
Surviving are his loving widow; four sons Christ of Portland, Oregon; Herbert of Wymore, Nebr; Adam of Beatrice, Nebr; and Wilber of Diller, Nebr; and four daughters Mrs. Sophie Weber of Beatrice; Mrs. Marie Rentschler of Lewiston, Nebr; Mrs. Estella Henrichs of Odell, Nebr; and Mrs. Erma Lottman of Diller, Nebr; nineteen grandchildren, of which one preceded him in death recently, four sons-in-law, and four daughters-in-law, three brothers Christ of Seward, Nebr; Ernest of Hoxie, Kansas; Albert of Bremen; four sisters Mrs. Christina Koenig of Denver, Colo; Mrs. Lizzie Crome, Mrs. Emma Frauhiger and Mrs. Martha Frauhiger, all of Bremen, Kansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, from the Salem Lutheran Church at Stromsburg. Interment was in the Stromsburg Cemetery.
