Mrs. Ida Kate Taylor Smith of Weir, 91, died at her residence February 2. Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Weir Methodist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Charles Arnett officiated, and burial was in French Camp Cemetery.
She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Annie Lou Meadows of Weir; one son, Bill Taylor of Forest City, la.; two stepsons, C. I. Smith of Starkville, Marvin Smith of Weir; one brother, the Rev. Lester Reeves of Brandon; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
