Mr. Ryland, 60, of Richmond, died in a local hospital. A native of Beulahville, he had lived in Richmond for 30 years. He was employed for 20 years as an auditor for Richmond Waterfront Terminals, Inc. and was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was survived by his wife, a son, a daughter, a sister, a brother, and four grandchildren.
