Benjamin 'Benny' Blanton Gray
SUPPLY | Mr. Benjamin "Benny" Blanton Gray, age 59, of 500 Al Haynes Road, Supply, died Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at his residence.
Mr. Gray was born in Brunswick County, October 30, 1942, and was the son of the late Edgar Lawry and Mortie Blanton Gray. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin Gray, and a brother, Bobby Gray. He was a member of Shallotte First Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Franklin Gray and wife Cathy of Sunset Harbor; four daughters, Angela Gray Evans and husband Paul of Shallotte, Tanya Gray Jackson and husband Todd of Ocean Isle Beach, Tabitha Gray Hopchas of Arlington, Va., Candice Gray Madison of Shallotte; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Gray, Brooks Roberts, Justin Evans, Hannah Evans, Madeline Jackson, Alexandra Hopchas, Victoria Hopchas; two brothers, Lennon Gray and Billy Gray, both of Shallotte; a sister, Betty Bozeman of Shallotte.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Shallotte First Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Gruber and Reverend Landis Lancaster officiating.
Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, Shallotte.
Pallbearers will be Troy Bozeman, Larry Blanton, A.B. Gray, Chris Bozeman, Richard Gray and Mickey Hughes.
