On Dec 27, 1852 Annie married Borre Larsen. They were devoted to each other for the rest of their lives. Annie was born April 11, 1830 in Loten Parish, Hedmarken, Norway, the daughter of Jorgen Hansen Lystuen and Anne Larsdatter Fronseth. She was baptized, confirmed and married at home by the same pastor, Pastor Christoffer Hansteen.
Borre and Annie Larsen were blessed with eight children born in Norway. Jorgen Burreson married Julia Pederson; Lars Burreson Hoel married Marje Anna "Marie" Ivarsdatter; Agnette Burreson married Maurice Sorley; Olena Burreson married Konstantine Blumberg; Bertha Burreson died,age 22, before marriage on Dec 26, 1884; Andreas Burreson died before marriage on Dec 24, 1884; Petronelli "Nellie" Burreson married George Dunstadter; and Julia Burreson died just three months old in Norway.
Borre Larsen was a tenant farmer for forty years in his home community until in 1884 he and his wife followed thier children to American. In the fall of 1884 they arrived in Bosque County, Texas and for fifteen years he rented a farm in the Neils Creek valley. They lived with their daughter Olena in Clifton until they moved to the little house diagonally across from their church, Trinity Lutheran.
They celebrated their 60th Wedding Aniversary on 27 Dec 1912.
Borre Larsen had skin cancer but still lived at long life. He died, age 95, on Nov 8, 1923 in Clifton, TX.
Anne Larsen died on May 5, 1920, she was 90 years young.
