Yorkhaven – Sarah A. "Sally" Gustafson, 70, of Yorkhaven, and formerly of Williamsport and Blandburg, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at York Memorial Hospital. Born May 18, 1932, in Blandburg, she was a daughter of the late Sherman G. and Alice A. (Firmstone) Scott. She graduated from Reade Township High School in 1950. She was first married to Angleo A. Turi. On May 18, 1984, in Cumberland, Md., she wed Harold F. Gustafson Jr., who preceded her in death May 18, 1986. She is survived by four children, Michael A. Turi of Montoursville, Tina L. Zitler of McAllisterville, Sue A. Turiano and Judith A. Welshans, both of Yorkhaven; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Sherman G. Scott Jr. of Blandburg; and a sister, Theresa A. Bougher of Utahville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Minerva Duke. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, with the Rev. Joe Short officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-11 a.m.
