12/10/07-- Billie Jean McCorkle, 69, of Jacksonville, FL died Wednesday, Dec.5th.
Mrs. McCorkle was a native of Montgomery County and had lived in Jacksonville, Flordia for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian M. McCorkle, Jr.
Survivors include a son, James Prickett, Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Tom Fountain and C. H. Fountain both of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Estelle Ussery, Palatka, FL and Joan Coleman, North Carolina. Services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, December 12, with the Reverend Owen Waters officiating. Burial will be in the Bazel Connell Cemetery, Montgomery County. Visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home Blanding Chapel, Jacksonville, FL from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
