Funeral services for Francis Xavier Ackerman, 62 who died Sunday afternoon at his residence, 125 Main Street , McSherrystown, were conducted yesterday with short rites at his late residence, followed by a requiem mass in the church of the Annunciation of the blessed Virgin Mary, McSherrystown, Rev. Henry Kozikowski was celebrant. Serving as pallbearers were: Augustus Miller, Alan miller, Francis Stahl, Keith Stahl, Charles Grimes and Joseph Murren. Interment was in the Parish cemetery.
