DEATH SUMMONS MRS. MERRITT -- CALDWELL- Mrs. Hannah Jane MERRITT, 77 wife of Elza MERRITT, died Sunday morning at the family home east of Caldwell following a long illness. Mrs. MERRITT was the daughter of Jasper and Ascenath Ackley Harper and was born at Dexter City. She was a life long resident of Noble county. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Caldwell. Surviving are her husband, Elza; a son, Harry Merritt of near Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Lahue of Canton and Mrs. Icel Walter of Richville and a brother, Obed Harper of Denver, Colorado.. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the First Church of Christ in Caldwell. Rev. Reece McGoldrick will officiate and burial will be in Olive cemetery, Caldwell.
