ALBERT L. BUTLER DIES MONDAY, SEPT. 9; RITES ARE FRIDAY

Albert L Butler, age 71, of Route 2, Shoals, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday, September 9,1996, at GentleCare of Loogootee.

He was born June 19, 1925, in Martin County, to the late Alfred G. Butler and Anna Jane (Gammon) Butler.

Loma Clarke and Albert were married on July 11, 1964. She survives.

He was a retired timber cutter. Albert served as a Private First Class for the U.S. Army in the Korean War.

Those surviving Albert is his dear wife, Loma, his sister, Margaret Probasco of Shoals, along with several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 13 at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals, with Bro. Winfield Poe officiating.

Burial will follow in the family Butler Cemetery. The Shoals American Legion Post No. 61 will conduct military graveside rites.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 12.
