Imlay City, formerly of Port Huron Norma Lickley passed away Friday Nov 16, 2007 at Herrington Inn Hospice in Port Huron. She was 83. Norma Louise Barnes was born Jan 21, 1924 in Manton Michigan,She graduated for Manton High School the class of 1942. Norma has been in the community since early 1952. She married Newton Jason Lickley August 20, 1943 in Manton. She was a homemaker and a member of the OES Friendship Lodge 252. Norma has worked side by side with her husband Jason at Jas Steel in Imlay City for many years.She is survived by three daughters, Jean Marie Hudson of Imlay City, Doreen Hodges of Valdez, Alaska and Carol Mobley of Anchorage, Alaska. Seven grandchildren, Jeffery Frick, Larry Hodges, Sandra Hodges, Andrew Hodges, Dennis Mobley, Tony Mobley, 12 great grandchildren. Brother Darrel (Gert) Barnes of Ravenna, 1 sister Bertha ( Carl)Vincent of Manton. Norma was preceeded in death by her parents Percy & Emma Barnes, husband Jason, grandson Phillip Frick, three brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held 1 pm Wednesday Nov 21, 2007 at the Muir Funeral Home. Pastor Carol Walburn of Dryden United Methodist Church Officiated. Internment took place at Attica Township Cemetery
