Hightower Rites Sunday
ELYSIAN FIELDS - Henry Lee Hightower, 80, single, died Saturday in Panola General Hospital. He was a retired farmer and was born in Harrison County on March 27, 1881, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wallace Hightower.
Funeral services are to be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hawthorne Funeral Chapel in Carthage. Officiating ministers are to be the Rev. Everett Miller and the Rev. Mouzon Biggs. Burial is to be in Elysian Fields Cemetery.
Pallbearers are to be Jerry Hightower, Otis Harris, Robert Rudd, J. D. Rudd, Richard Harris and Walter Rudd.
Surviving are four [sic] brothers, Oscar L. Hightower, all of Elysian Fields; two sisters, Mrs. Reba Rudd, Waskom, and Mrs. Martha Harris, Elysian Fields.
