She is the daughter of Thomas and Blanche Farr Weeks. She moved to Nyssa in 1936 with her family. She graduated from Nyssa High School.
She and her husband moved to Vale in 1953. She worked in the Malheur County Assessor's office for 30 years.
She was also survived by a brother Glen and sister Betty.
