Funeral services were held for Cecil Oma Bagley of 709 W. Market Street, Honey Grove, at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19th, with the Rev. Jerry Pitman, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was made at Oakwood Cemetery, Honey Grove, where Masonic services were held.

Active pallbearers were Masons, Jessie Smith, Jimmy Doyle, Alvin Fields, Lewis Fleming, Homer Rhodes and Don Roberts.

Mr. Bagley died suddenly at 7:15 Thursday morning, March 18, 1976.

He was born at Dubberly, Louisiana, April 21, 1902, the son of David Bagley and Minnie Lou McGlaun Bagley.

He was married October 8, 1927, to Mattie Burkham at Clarksville.

Mr. Bagley was a member of the First Baptist Church at Honey Grove, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 164, Past District Grand Master and retired.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mattie Bagley of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ouida Howard, Dallas, and Mrs. Leeman Vessels of Mesquite; one sister, Mrs. John Shepherd, Reno; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
