He died while crossing Telegraph near Princeton by a North-bound car at 5:20am while out walking and drinking with friends. He died four hours after the accident at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn.

The accident was within a couple of block of his home on Burns street where he lived with his grandmother who at the time was hospitalized after reportedly suffering a heart attack.

Larry went to gradeschool at St. Alphonsus in Dearborn and would have been a part of the Class of 1989.

Actual son of Lawerence Gerald Blankenbaker & Debbie Wagner. Father died 6/6/1975 due to narcotic addiction. Lawerence, Sr. is the son of Homer G. Blankenbaker and Theresa M. Morrow (Marble Peak Cemetery - Milan, MI) and buried at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery (Brownstown, MI).
