A. Brook Wilt of 1040 Third avenue, Duncansville, died at Mercy hospital at 6.30 o'clock last evening after an extended illness. He was born in Puzzletown Nov. 9, 1885, the son of Henry and Rebecca (Smith) Wilt, and married Clara McElnay on Aug. 28, 1907, in Roaring Spring.
He was retired as a boilermaker of the Pennsylvania railroad. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Paul of Duncansville, Robert of Juniata and Eugene of Foot of Ten; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Campbell of Hollidaysburg, R.D., and Mrs. Betty Perry of Williamsburg, R.D.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Hicks Memorial Methodist church, Duncansville. Friends will be received at the Liebegott funeral home, Duncansville, after 7 o'clock this evening.
