Tracy Lee Gilmore

Tracy Lee Gilmore, 17, was dead on arrival at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell on July 26, 1985 following a traffic accident Friday night. She was a passenger on a motorcycle that struck a pickup truck two miles west of Lovell on U.S. 310. Death was due to massive head injuries.

She was born in Lovell on Dec. 11, 1967, and was the daughter of Patricia Ann Yates Gilmore and step-daughter of Robert L. Gilmore of Lovell. Her father is Bruce Goswick of Cody. She had lived in Lovell for the past six months, coming from Olympia, Wash. with her family. She had attended Powell High School and would have been a senior at Lovell High School this fall.

She is surived by her parents of Lovell, her father of Cody, and three sisters, Tyna Ann Gilmore of Olympia and Tonja Lynn Gilmore and Trudi Renee Gilmore, both of Lovell.

Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Leon Yates of Byron, and her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Audrey Gilmore of Powell. She is also survived by three great-grandmothers, Mrs. Lillian Hinkel of Lovell, Mrs. Eloise Yates of Rising Star, Texas, and a great-grandmother in Louisiana.

Funeral services were to be held Tuesday, July 30, 1985 at 2 p.m. in the Byron LDS Chapel, with Bishop Charles Hessenthaler officiating. Burial was in the Byron Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell was in charge of arrangements.
