Rose Marie Haynes, 67, of Suffolk, our beloved wife and mother, went to be with our Lord Dec. 12th 2008 with her family and friends by her side.

Born in Suffolk, Rose was the daughter of the late Herman and Carrie Wese. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Wese Jr., a sister, Carolyn Warren, a son, Ronald G. Haynes, Jr., (stillborn) and a beloved nephew, Anthony Haynes. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.

Rose leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Ronald G. Haynes, Suffolk, her daughter Robin Knight and husband James, Elizabeth City, N.C., two sons Keith Duke and Greg Haynes and Kara, Suffolk; nine grandchildren, Heather Duke, Jonathan Brown, Taylor Brown, Jordan Knight, Madison Knight, Donnie Williams, Phillip Williams, Amanda Williams and Kelly Williams; two great grandchildren, Matthew Pennington and Kiersten Brown; three brothers-in-Law, Wayne Haynes and wife Brenda, Goose Creek, S.C., Jacob Mullens, Suffolk, and Jeff Howell and wife Pat, TN; special friends and extended family Joan and Charles Grizzard and family, Chester and Angela Harrell and family, Kyle and Vicki Harrell and family, David Haynes and Debbie and Robert Wayne, Earl Robert and Amy Haynes and Michael; Red Hat Friends, Michele Duncan, Robin Campbell, Gloria Byrum and Shirley Johnson.

The family will receive friends at R.W. Baker & Co Funeral Home & Crematory Sunday from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Her Funeral will be held Monday, December 15, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Stewart R. McCarter officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.rwbakerfh.com
