Walter Dale, age 86, of Knoxville, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Countryside Manor in Lamar. A son of the late Virgil and Erma Price Dale, he was born November 11, 1921 in Johnson County. He was retired from Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dow Price and Ern Dale; and a sister, Inez Waldo.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Dewayne and Lisa Dale of Knoxville; a daughter, Benita Dale of Knoxville; a brother and sister-in-law, Espie and Rena Dale of Flat Rock; a sister, Lois Whorton of Flat Rock; and three grandchildren: Monica Foreman, Cody Foreman and Ryan Dale, all of Knoxville.
A graveside service will be conducted by Shinn Funeral Service at 10 A.M. on Friday, June 6, 2008 at Price Cemetery near London. The Rev. Ronnie Birge will officiate.
